Since 2004 the science fiction, fantasy and horror convention Fantasticon have been held every year in the Copenhagen area, except in 2007, where Denmark were the host for Eurocon. It is usually attended by 100-200 fans, writers, artists and other people with an interest in those genres.
In 2018 Fantasticon will focus on the subgenre of Steampunk.
