For tredje gang uddeles Niels Klim-prisen, som har til formål at hylde det bedste inden for science fiction, der er udgivet på dansk i det forgangne år.
Prisceremonien finder i sted i forbindelse med Fantasticon 2014, og der kåres vindere i kategorierne novelle, langnovelle og kortroman.

We are proud to announce that Rochita Loenen-Ruiz will be joining award-winning British science fiction author Paul McAuley at Fantasticon 2014.
Rochita Loenen-Ruiz is a writer from The Philippines, who lives with her family in The Netherlands. Her short fiction has appeared in a variety of online and print publications, including Fantasy Magazine, Apex Magazine, Interzone, Realms of Fantasy, The Apex Book of World SF 2, Robots: The Recent A.I. (anthology), the Weird Fiction Review and Weird Tales Magazine.
She writes a column called Movements which is published online at Strange Horizons.

Paul McAuley was announced as Guest of Honour after last year’s Fantasticon. He has won the Philip K. Dick Award for his first novel Four Hundred Billion Stars (1988), while Fairyland (1996) won both the Arthur C. Clarke Award and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for best science fiction novel. He is also known for the Four Hundred Billion Stars Series, The Confluence Series and The Quiet War Series, which consist of the novels The Quiet War (2008), Gardens of the Sun (2009), In the Mouth of the Whale (2012) and British Science Fiction Association Award-nominee Evening’s Empires (2013). His most recent publication is the short story collection A Very British History.
